It Had To Be You by Francis Ray 06/21/2010
Nia Virtual Book Tours features It Had To Be You by Francis Ray. From New York Times bestselling author Francis Ray comes a dazzling new novel of the Grayson family and their friends—a duo destined to make beautiful music together... IT HAD TO BE HER Most musicians would do anything to work with the hot, young record producer known as “Rolling Deep.” R.D. can pick and choose any artist he wants—and he wants Laurel Raineau. A classical violinist, Laurel plays soaring music that touches R.D. to his very soul. But the last thing Laurel wants is to work with someone whose exploits with the ladies appear in the tabloids every week. IT HAD TO BE...WHO? Not one to take no for an answer, R.D. keeps trying—and failing—to let Laurel know that he’s not the player he’s made out to be. So he introduces himself to her by his real name, Zachary Wilder, hoping to win her over. But it’s Zach who falls under this beauty’s spell. Now it’s only a matter of time before Laurel learns who the man she’s losing her heart to really is—but can she walk away from a passion that feels so right? The interview gave me good insight into this book and I cannot wait to read it. Francis Ray is an awesome writer describing her characters and their professions, family and friends. It allows you the opportunity to escape and take a trip into someone elses life and live on the edge. Harriet M 06/23/2010 5:44pm
Mrs. Ray you do not have to write anything you are uncomfortable with just to sell books. I have read all your books and you are extremely talented. Ranurgis 06/24/2010 2:42pm
I thoroughly enjoyed the interview. When I hear authors talk about their works and how they write their marvelous stories, I'm always in awe. I'm aware of the fact that I'm not good at creative writing. Give me a thesis any old time. ToniB 06/24/2010 2:46pm

I absolutely LOOOOVE Ms. Ray and have read all of her books since discovering her. I love the way she writes about families and friends and intertwines them in some way in each book. This gives readers the chance to learn about each copules journe, without everything being crammed into one book and taking the focal point off of the main characters. Keep it up Ms. Ray! 06/25/2010 9:18am
